The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) concludes that successful science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in both school-based and out-of-school settings combined, will determine whether the United States will remain a leader among nations and be in a position to solve an array of immense and rapidly emerging national challenges in science and technology.
Underlying this challenge
is the Digital Divide, which serves to broaden and deepen
societal class boundaries.   These challenges must be addressed to
solve the increasingly complex problems facing modern society.
Please support STEM Education and the
Software Literacy Foundation.
